Aviation is more my bent than Boating although I enjoyed traveling on the QE2 many times as a Lecturer, (speaking about Concorde) as she happily and smoothly criss crossed The Pond (Atlantic Ocean).

My experience boating with Jonathan and the boys goes back to 1991 but alas nowhere near as smooth or as much Caviar!!

In fact after one particular burn to Guernsey not only did I say "I'm never going near a Boat again" but myself and Cormac took the very sensible option to fly back to the UK mainland.

I had spent the whole crossing throwing up violently in the bowls of the boat while Jonathan battled against 90 foot waves and beat up Oil Tankers that were traversing the busiest Shipping lane in the World.

I have lost count of the number of times the 4 of us have had fun days frolicking the sea of the South coast, but we always have fun and I often get wet.....but that's another story.
